The large windows that lighten its monolithic facade and ceiling allow natural light to pass through, creating a sense of continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces, amplifying the perception of the already spacious areas. To counterbalance the partial rarefaction of the envelope, the interior design is intentionally enriched, described by the combination of different materials – wood, marble, and sintered stone – all played in black & white and shades of concrete gray.

Lapitec, in XXL-sized slabs, adorns the interior walls of the entire complex, from the reception area—combined with portions of fluted wood and backlighting—to the pool and wellness area, and the rooms dedicated to individual and team sports. The possibility of using Lapitec in large slabs also facilitates its use in architecture and interior design, allowing its application in large-scale projects, including coverings, horizontal and vertical surfaces, and facades.

The full-body characteristic of Lapitec, which is free of glazes or surface prints and has the same exterior and interior in terms of performance and visual appearance, allows the material to be carved, milled, and worked throughout its entire thickness freely. Examples of this are the profiles of athletes that characterize the hall and the rooms dedicated to group and free body activities: also made of Lapitec sintered stone, they blend seamlessly into the contrasting slabs, like the silhouettes in shadow theater.

Thanks to its non-porous surface, Lapitec is unalterable and resistant to thermal shocks and chemicals used for sanitation. It can be applied in contact with water, even when immersed. These intrinsic characteristics of sintered stone make it the ideal material in high-traffic and high-wear environments, particularly where there are special cleaning and disinfection needs, including humid or chlorinated environments such as sports and wellness centers.
